The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, asking him to publicly denounce any alleged affiliation with the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or face disciplinary action.

In a statement released on Tuesday, APGA leadership warned that the party would not tolerate what it described as “divided loyalty” from its elected representatives. The party insisted that Senator Abaribe must make his position clear to avoid sending the wrong signal to supporters ahead of future elections.

“APGA is a party built on discipline, unity, and loyalty. We will not condone any form of anti-party activity. Senator Abaribe has 24 hours to dissociate himself from the ADC, otherwise the party will be left with no choice but to activate disciplinary measures,” the statement read in part.

The warning comes amid growing concerns within the party over alleged moves by some members to align with rival political platforms. Party officials say such actions undermine APGA’s structure and weaken its influence at both state and national levels.

As of press time, Senator Abaribe had yet to respond to the ultimatum.
