Isialangwa, Abia State – Chief Uzo Ihuka has formally declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Isialangwa North and South Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration event, widely described as historic by party stakeholders and political observers, drew an unprecedented turnout of political leaders, party executives, grassroots mobilizers, youth and women groups, supporters, and well-wishers from across both local government areas. The occasion marked the official launch of a campaign built on unity, transparency, and a firm commitment to delivering effective, people-centered legislative representation.
In his address, Chief Ihuka delivered a strong and deliberate message, emphasizing that his ambition is rooted in a deep understanding of public service and responsibility. He affirmed that his decision to run is purposeful and focused on transforming representation in the constituency.
“I am contesting for this seat to ensure that our voices are heard, our priorities reflected, and our constituency advances in all spheres of development,” he stated.
Chief Ihuka reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, highlighting ideological consistency and disciplined political engagement.
