Former Abia State Governor and Senator representing Abia North, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has disclosed that former executive office holders and past national and state legislators from Abia State have unanimously endorsed the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Kalu made this known after a strategic meeting of the Forum of Former Abia State Executive, National and State Legislative Members, convened by former governors of the state.

The high-level meeting brought together seasoned political leaders, including former Governor Senator Theodore Orji, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Dr. Nkeiru Onyejeocha, alongside other notable stakeholders, to deliberate on key issues affecting Abia State and the nation at large.

According to Kalu, participants engaged in extensive deliberations and collectively resolved to work towards the success of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates at all levels in upcoming elections. He noted that the resolutions were anchored on a shared commitment to strong leadership, party unity, and sustainable national development.

The forum also provided an opportunity for a critical assessment of governance in Abia State, with members exchanging candid views and adopting positions guided strictly by the overall interest of the people of the state.

Kalu emphasized that the leaders, bound by experience and responsibility, remain united in purpose to advance the progress, unity, and prosperity of Abia State and Nigeria.
