The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has expressed optimism that Nigeria’s next general election will not be business as usual.
In a statement shared on Monday, Obi declared, “The next election won’t be the same,” stressing that the growing political consciousness among Nigerians, particularly the youth, would reshape the country’s democratic process.
He urged citizens to remain engaged and committed to demanding accountability from leaders, adding that credible elections remain the foundation for national development.
