Telecommunications operators in Nigeria have confirmed the restoration of SIM swap services across the country. This follows a recent disruption that left millions of subscribers unable to access the service.

The operators, in a joint statement, assured customers that normal operations have resumed and all affected services are being gradually restored. They also apologized for the inconvenience caused during the downtime and pledged to implement measures to prevent a recurrence.

The disruption had sparked widespread concern among users, particularly those needing urgent SIM replacements due to lost or damaged cards.
