Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has approved an increase in the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in the state to ₦20,000.
The gesture, announced on Tuesday, is aimed at motivating corps members and cushioning the effect of the current economic situation in the country.
Governor Mbah assured that his administration would continue to prioritize the welfare of corps members and provide a conducive environment for them to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.
