A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Prince Paul Ikonne, has congratulated the newly elected Abia State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chijioke Chukwu, alongside members of the State Working Committee (SWC) and other party executives who emerged from the recently concluded ward, local government, and state congresses.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Chiagoziem Enoch, Ikonne described the emergence of the new leadership as a reflection of renewed unity, strengthened collaboration, and a shared commitment among party members to build a more cohesive and forward-looking APC in the state.
He expressed confidence that the new leadership would provide purposeful direction and further strengthen the party’s structure across all levels in Abia.
Ikonne also commended party leaders and stakeholders across the state for the sacrifices and consensus-building efforts that ensured the peaceful conduct of the congresses.
According to him, the harmony recorded during the process has helped position the party to speak with one voice and work collectively toward strengthening its presence in the state.
The former NALDA boss further assured the new leadership of his support and cooperation as they take on the responsibility of consolidating the party and expanding its influence across Abia.
